Characters (c) Ohba and Obata, High School Musical (c) Disney.

Not being particularly a great fan of High School Musical, I therefore found it pretty amusing when people on here started saying Zac Efron, the lead guy in it, looked a lot like evil Kira from Death Note. E.g. [link] . (They even have the same strand of hair falling across their face!) So I ended up drawing a comic about it.

No offence to Zac, I just find it funny how similar they look. :)

The picture of Zac is traced off this picture [link] , since I fail at drawing real people :D

Will do some more realistic art soon - keep starting stuff and then stopping halfway through. (And now my tablet is covered in cat hair, just like everything else in my room :D)

Newsflash: He's been picked to play Light in the American contrivance of Death Note. (there's a petition against picking him as Light BTW)
Wonder if Johnny Depp will be "L"....he's played alot of weirdo characters already. :lol:

What?! Really?! (I didn't even know they were doing a remake...) I don't know whether to find that hilarious or go and sign the petition immediately... :D
I can't personally see Johnny Depp as L...although come to think of it Edward Scissorhands is kind of similar to him- at least he would play it well.

Well he's got quite a resume for over-the-top chars: Sweeney Todd, Captain Jack Sparrow, Edward Scissorhands (as stated already), Sam from "Benny & Joon" (brilliantly played), Willy Wonka...the list goes on. We'll just have to see.

Oh my gosh when I read what you said about Efron playing Light I was literally at a loss for word. Now that I've regained my voice all I can say is ....NOOOOOO!!!!

Well Zac was among those picked anyway, from what I Read or heard. :shrug: I'm wondering who gets the plum of playing L, and Misa. :confused: I just hope Hollywood don't mess it up. :please:

Okay, it's not for sure then? Yay!! :boogie: That's good to hear. Yes I too wonder who will be given the great honor of playing L. I've heard rumours about Depp but I dunno. That'd be pretty interesting actually, but I wonder if he'd be able to sit like L all the time. That's gotta hurt when you're older! :XD:
